Daniel & Jackie: 12/27/11

Two days after Christmas, my cousin Daniel married Jackie! The wedding and reception were so much fun! I didn't get any pictures from the actual wedding but here are some from the reception.

SNOW!!!!

We had a regular winter storm a few days ago!!! I know this isn't the first snow...but it was prettier...and more interesting!

This is what it looked like outside around dinner time...it got progressively harder however and when some of us went over to a friend's house later that evening the roads were TERRIBLE! When we got back home the power was off and remained so until morning! But it was beautiful nonetheless!

We went to cut down "the perfect tree" on the Saturday after Thanksgiving!

Florida!

We just got back from a 3 1/2 week speaking trip to Florida. Dad scheduled speaking engagements for almost every night. On the trip we were able to do a lot of fun stuff including picking up a snake (Ike) that looked poisonous (we finally decided it wasn't), seeing our cousin at Pensacola Christian College, meeting lots of people, etc. :)

We got to see "Winter" from "Dolphin Tale", the new movie about a dolphin with a prosthetic tail! The younger kids LOVED it!

We were able to stay at our favorite campground Fort Wilderness in Walt Disney World! Here are some pictures from our time there!

Cal was our little dare-devil this year wanting to go on one of the roller coasters and the huge water ride with a gigantic plunge at the end (I don't even like that one too well:)!

What we've been doing...

Wow! It has been a long time since I have posted anything and I'm really sorry!!! We've been extremely busy this last month so here are some quick shots of what we've been doing!

Well, the first day was sunny...the other two were cloudy! But we had a blast at Lake Freeman anyway! It was the last time we got to be there this year so I took some pictures!!!

Maranatha Bible Camp

Over the past week, we have been at Maranatha Bible Camp for the homeschool week! It was a blast! The camp was right on Lake Michigan and so we got to spend a lot of time in the water and pool. The weather was beautiful all but 1 or 2 days! Dad was speaking there along with Israel Wayne (his teen workshops were awesome!!!) and Jay and Heidi Saint John.
