Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

We went to the Saint Louis Zoo for Mother's Day! It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun!

Get Your Kicks on Route 66!

From our first convention in Chicago, Illinois we drove to LA, California on Route 66! We made LOTS of stops along the way. I only posted a few pictures, but to see more you can go to my Dad's RV blog or Ben's Motorhome Minute.
Route 66...through our RV windshield! :)
We stopped and saw the vault Abraham Lincoln is buried in! If you are ever in Springfield, Missouri, it's a great stop and really interesting!
A not-so-great stop: the world's largest covered wagon.

Load 'em up and move 'em out!

Tomorrow we officially start on our RV trip! I'll try to keep fairly up to date on my blog, but you can only stop at so many McDonald's with free WiFi! :) My dad also has an RV blog that he updates frequently and you can click here to check it out!

Your prayers for our trip would definitely be appreciated!!!

Ben celebrated his graduation from high school last Saturday! Ben has been doing a college program called CollegePlus  for his last two high school years and will graduate that in around a year with a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing. From there he hopes to go into law.

Here are some pictures from his graduation!

Grammy, Ben, and Granddad. Ben is the first graduate on the Wilson side of the family!
The weather was beautiful and we were able to open up the screened in porch!
"The guys"
Our great friends the Pacheco's and Mrs. Pletcher!

We had a great turnout at the open house and it was so much fun! Thank you for coming, everyone!

Ike's a Teenager!

Ike turned 13 on April 27! It has become a tradition in our family that the 13th birthday is the "biggest", and we always try to do something extra special! We happened to be in Springfield, Missouri for Ike's birthday so he was able to go to Silver Dollar City in Branson (about an hour away)! Here are some pictures from the day:
The birthday boy!

The "chosen four" who got to go to Silver Dollar City: Ike, Abe, Mom, and Sam! :)
Later that night, we did cake and presents in the RV after the convention was over.
Mom and Dad have always gotten the boys a "man's" gift on their 13th birthday. Ike was totally surprised by a welder, which he's been wanting for a really long time!!!
