Yes, we did have a ton of fun! And Hannah, we're still not sure what happened, but I was playing with Jed on the couch and all of a sudden he got off and started crying and holding his neck. Mom said she heard a bump but I didn't even hear that! Well, like 3 hours later he was still holding his neck so we took him to the ER because at that age they're usually pretty fast to spring back!
Great photos of a seemingly loving family! We also had sickness passing through our family too! Not fun - I can't imagine a family of 10 going through it. Glad everyone is feeling better and that Jed is well!
Thanks for posting your pix! (Your dad posted a link to them in his email.) It looks like a good time was had by all. My wife, daughter (Alyssa, 12 yrs old) and I also had a great Christmas!
Katherine, Your Christmas pictures look so classic! I think if you took the one of the kids on the bed playing a game and turned it black and white it would look like it was from 1965!! I love your photos. You really captured the fun and family time of Christmas!
You don't know me, but I just read your dad's email newsletter, and he had a link to your site, so I thought I'd leave a comment and say hi :) Great pics! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I'll leave a link to my blog so I'm not a *complete* stranger: http://notesofnoah.wordpress.com/
Hey Kat, Will Maggie be having a castle birthday cake? That looks like a hard cake to make - I'm sure you can do it though! I'll be posting pics on my share site soon (shutterfly) - some very similar to a few of yours! I'm glad you got some bowling shots of the bigger "kids" - mine are of the younger crowd. I think your mom has the site address if you want to look. There are some fun sledding ones, too. See ya! Love, Aunt Gail
Aunt Gail~Well, I think I'm going to be returning the castle cake set for something else. I really wanted it, but I found a review on line about it that said it was really hard and a pain! Ok, I'll ask Mom about the site!!!
It looks like you all had a great Christmas in spite of the sickness and concussion. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun! I'm curious, Grace- what happened? :-)

ReplyDeleteBecoming the photographer of your family can be fun, as you have many subjects to photograph.
